Emily, neé Emilia Francine Borgnet, was born in Belgium. She came to the U.S. in 1947 when she was 17 years old. She got married soon after and became a U.S. citizen in 1950. Emily worked in crew scheduling for 26 years at Seaboard and at Flying Tigers. She is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Berghorn.
