Edie LeRoy was born in Hartford, Conn. She trained as a registered nurse before becoming a flight attendant at Seaboard in 1955 when a registered nurse was required on military flights. In October 1970, she married flight engineer Joe Restivo and they resided in Connecticut until her death.
Edie was survived by her husband, Joe; her brother, Farrel "Bud" LeRoy, Jr.; and sisters Anne Marshall and Mary Ellen Feinberg. Edie & Joe are seen above in 1971.
