This shoulder patch was worn high on the left sleeve by cockpit crewmembers from 1947 to 1961, and by flight attendants from 1950 to 1961. It is 3" wide.
This insignia is believed to have been worn by flight engineers
on their sleeves just above the cuffs.
It is 1 1/8" wide (from the tips of the propeller).

This insignia was worn by navigators on their sleeves just above the cuffs.*
It is 1 1/4" wide (from wingtip to wingtip).

This insignia (medical caduceus) was worn on the sleeves just
above the cuffs of flight attendants who were registered nurses.
It is about 7/8" wide (from wingtip to wingtip)
and a little more than 1 1/4" high.
