Capt. Mark Sattler was born in Saskatoon, Canada. He served with the Royal Air Force during World War II and flew with the famed Pathfinder squadron. He was awarded two Distinguished Flying Crosses. Mark joined Seaboard in 1950 and became a U.S. citizen in 1953.

Mark Sattler was survived by his wife of 44 years, Millicent. He is seen here in 1969.
